I’m working on a page here to hold my ideas & brainstorming for a backyard garden next spring.  An unplanned trip to the National Arboretum got me started (especially because the plants there are labeled- very convenient for camera-carrying me.)

Here’s just one photo from my visit.  Hearing hearty munching in the herb garden, I went to investigate.

Om nom nom. The first groundhog I've ever seen, chowing down*.

Groundhogs are much larger than I thought they would be.

Is this a “good” thing? Well, I dunno. But the very fancy (almost professional) camera  (a gift from my brother) that I take these pictures with is pretty excellent.

(*Man, this blog is really green so far.)
